Should I pursue this crazy chick?

I got dumped by a very hot girl. Admittedly, I'm on the rebound, and the first girl I met is very pretty but is also very unstable. On a trip up to the Catskills, she told me, among other things, that she used to be engaged, hates her mother, and now provides accommodation for her "guy friend" with a severe gambling problem on her couch. Then she started crying. Everything tells me not to pursue her; however, she is kind of a welcome distraction. Should I do this?
